Adventist Community Services (ACS), a branch of the San Andreas Seventh-day Adventist Church, works in our county to provide free food and clothing for those in need, inspired by Christ's example of service.  Hours of operation are Fridays, 10 am - 1 pm.  Stop by our remodeled facility to see our extensive selection of gently-used clothes.  We also provide fresh vegetables and fruit in season from our Master's Garden.  This year we've added five new fruit trees to expand our selection to include apples, persimmons, plums and prunes.

Community Kitchen

We offer a Winter Soup Kitchen from November to March, serving soup and sandwiches. Of course, there is no charge for any of these items. Rooted in Christ’s love, this ministry supports the hungry and homeless, fosters community connection, and reflects the Adventist commitment to caring for both physical and spiritual well-being.

The Master's Garden, located on the campus of the San Andreas SDA Church, is a community-focused ministry providing fresh, organic produce while practicing sustainable gardening. Volunteers grow food to support local families in need, promote healthy living, and nurture faith through hands-on stewardship of God’s creation.

Little Sprouts of Hope

Little Sprouts of Hope is a ministry of the San Andreas Adventist Community Services that aims to support local mothers and their babies. We want to welcome and embrace the new little lives in our community. One of the ways we do this is by gifting a welcome basket to moms of new babies. We do this on an individual basis as well as in collaboration with the Calaveras Pregnancy Center in Angels Camp.

If you would like to support Little Sprouts of Hope ministry, you can do so in the following ways:

1. Pray for us, for the little ones and their parents in our community!

2. If you know of a new baby in the community, please let us know so we can welcome them.

3. You may donate new clothing - size newborn to 3 months.

4. We also accept monetary donations.

For you, O Lord, are my hope,
my trust, O LORD, from my youth.
Upon you I have leaned from before my birth;
you are He who took me from my mother’s womb.
My praise is continually of you.

Psalm 71:5, 6 ESV
